DUBAI (Dangerous Driving )

The dangerous driving depicted in footage filmed on Sheikh Zayed Road earlier this month is mirrored in dozens more videos showing the same two motorists causing chaos across Dubai.

The drivers of a white Nissan 4x4 and a black Toyota truck are shown repeating the staggering display of recklessness in Jumeirah, Zabeel and on Emirates Road, as well as at unidentified sites emirate-wide. The videos were shot throughout May.

In one clip on Jumeirah Beach Road, the 4x4’s passenger climbs out of the window as the vehicle balances on two wheels and stands astride the roof and the door waving at cars behind.

The vehicles registration plates and faces of the drivers can be clearly seen. The footage has been widely condemned by police and road safety campaigners who slammed the drivers’ disregard for the lives of other drivers
