The portuguese flop Carlos Queiroz will receive more than 800 000 € in the World Cup

Carlos Queiroz will receive more than 800 000 euros for the campaign's of the national team at the World South Africa The CM knows that in the contract that exists between the coach and the FPF, that only expires in 2012, contained a clause which gives the first ten percent of premiums paid by FIFA for the institution headed by Gilberto Madaíl.
All in all, Carlos Queiroz was entitled to receive 720,000 euros from 7.2 million euros paid by FIFA to the FPF for the presence of selection in the quarter-final major event in world football. To these values must be added over 800,000 of expenses (80 000 for Queiroz), amount given to each of the 32 teams present at the World Cup.
Following the elimination of selection in the quarter-final against Spain, the coach has come under strong criticism 'for the team's lack of offensive ambition and 'mismanagement' of certain situations that erupted with players  some players, including Ronaldo and Deco, but the high values that are contained in its contract with the FPF deterred Gilberto Madaíl positions to take drastic action. However, the CM knows that the leader of the FPF was disappointed not only by eliminating Portugal in quarter-final but also the fact that, the presence on the World cup has been a big lost.

Although Madaíl not speak in numbers, the 2010 World Cup campaign was the most expensive ever, with higher values for investment in Euro 2004, 8.5 million. The passage to the quarter-finals would have guaranteed the FPF 14.4 million euros.
