18-year-old arrested in relation to Rowe family triple murder

Kapunda

A TEENAGER has been arrested over the murder a week ago of three family members in South Australia's mid-north.
Major Crime Investigation Branch head Detective Superintendent Grant Moyle last night said police had arrested an 18-year-old man over the murders of Andrew and Rose Rowe and their 16-year-old daughter Chantelle.
The 18-year-old is from the town of Kapunda, where the Rowe family lived in a rented home.
A police spokeswoman said the man "will be charged with three counts of murder". "The man was known to Chantelle and police are satisfied this was not a random attack," she said.
"But he had targeted the family for as yet unknown reasons."
Detectives were last night continuing to question the man and had called a press conference at the Kapunda police station.
